I went to NAPA today armed with six different parts numbers from the forum and my old pump. The pump available wouldn't fit because of the splash pan(the pump would project down through it). Two parts guys spent a bunch of time on the computer checking the numbers I had with me and then brought out the book for me to dig through.I went through their book page by page comparing the pictures to my pump without any luck. My pump is compact with a flat bottom. It's made of cast metal held together with screws. The type that was meant to be rebuilt. Can some one who has bought one recently please tell me where to check and what to ask for. Jim
