...when somebody asks that kind of question. One or two tires at a time can always go in the dumpster here, or there's plenty of places to stash them on anybody's place. They always might be good for something someday -- reducing erosion, planting tomatoes in, using as towing bumpers, etc. I've never had the local tire shop charge me for disposing of a junk tire either, if they removed it from the rim for me.

I feel sorry for the folks who live where everything that isn't mandatory is prohibited. I was just told that in California, even antique vehicles are going to have to be smogged now, and the only way to get them to pass is to replace the carburetors with a fuel injection system.
