Thanks to Milo for the tip on this local truck. John S. and I went to check it out today.

1951 former fire truck from Adah, PA later used by a local coal company. Rebuilt engine runs great. Cab is completely used up. Frame is rock solid and has not been bobbed in the rear. Dump bed was made from a deuce and a half military bed. No tailgate.

Spare parts include drive train from a 1967 WM300 with Warn hubs, rear shock mounts, and believed to have 4.89 gears. Also comes with a Plymouth 218 that will be available for sale. It was rebuilt by the same company and if it runs as well as the 230, it should be great.

Hope to bring everything home in a few weeks. I think it will take him that long to locate all of the parts that come with it!
