You need for David Sherman to read your post. And I'm sure others will know, too.
My wiring on my WDX was such a disaster that I pulled it all out and re-wired with Paul in NY's generous assistance. A positive ground system was too much for my brain, and I like the versatility of 12 volts, although it presented challenges with the heater and wipers. The rest was pretty simple, just changing bulbs. Plus I added in a circuit panel and several relays.
