I'd like to put a 10' box behind the cab. The closed cab only allows for a 9' box, and to get that the box has to sit 8" to the rear, which I think looks bad. Adding 12" to the frame between the cab and the bogie pivot keeps the bed "weighted" toward the front by 4", which looks a lot better to me.
