Wow!! I don't have any experience with road salt, but to rust away a block, that's awesome. I've seen blocks used for moorings that have been in the ocean for years that looked like they might have been salvageable. We rarely get snow around here, but even in the high country, they aren't allowed to use salt on the roads due to possible environmental issues. They just close the roads when it's bad.
