Now there you go again, transposing California weather to the rest of the planet. :) We are under water part of the year here, so I thought this would be a good idea. :) Seriously, I have been on some roads here in the early spring when the snow is melting and the frost hasn't gone out of the roads, and water in the ruts could easily be 12 to 18" deep.
