Generally all I use is a tractor with a chain on the bucket. For the cab I have a 2x6 that is cut longer than the width of the cab so it sticks out on both sides, "doesn't bend the drip edging". Taking the 2.5"-3" strap looped through the doors and a pair of vise grips to keep the ends hooked together, I sandwich the 2x6 and tighten it up snug. I use a large clevis to join the chain to the tightened ratchet strap. Helps to have someone there to guide it over the steering column. As far forward on the flat area should be the sweet spot for balance.

Sure there is a better way, but this works for me. Putting on a nice freshly painted cab is another story that requires 4 strong friends a case of beer and involves manual labor "but don't mention that until they arrive at your place.
