Could be anything. There are many problems with the TPMS, like with all the computer systems on new cars. But, bottom line, the car should not have left the tire shop with the TPMS light on.

Some cars have a button to reset the light, but the tire shop should have a device to reset the TPMS and check for faults.

Would you leave a mechanic's garage with the check engine light illuminated?

If the owner is at such a loss that they are asking for information on a site for 60 year old trucks, they should just take the car back to the tire shop.
