I don't get on the PW Forum here near as much as in times past, but just before Forum #445 turned over to #446, I noticed a posting from Tim Holloway announcing the sale of one of his trucks, and offering a welcoming introduction to the buyer who it appeared might be new to the Forum. This was a thoughtful gesture showing not only Tim's congeniality, but representing the evolving community found on this Forum page. Such a message also displays the concept that the traditions of these fine trucks get passed along between their respective stewards and down through generations.

Unlike Tim, whose sale of his Power Wagon was more impromtu, my '53 B4 had been posted here on Joe's Photo Ads for a good number of months. It's photo moved from the Photo Ads over to the "Sold" listing in late February, and by late March the truck had been transported to it's new home.

Phillip S. lives in Maryland and the transport of the PW to there completes a cross-county eastern migration since I had it hauled from where it was originally built in CA to CO in 2001.

Although already a Mopar enthusiast, Phillip is new to old Power Wagons, and throughout the transaction process, I repeatedly recommended and referenced him to Joe's website and to the Forum Page. If he has not already made his presence visible here, I hope he soon will.

I sincerely wish Phillip all the best in restoring his B3 to his preference, and hope he is able to take it to stages beyond what I was able to in the years it fell under my care. I also hope that Phillip finds this Forum Page and its evolving cast of characters to be as valuable and as much of a virtual home-away-from-home as I have over all the years.

Since Phillip opted to purchase the B3 without all of the parts listed in the advertised package, I will soon be listing a Photo Ad for a pair of ARB Lockers for the PW, as well as for a Helitool Front Disk Brake kit (complete with machined hubs) for sale in CO .... stay tuned!

So, a "big welcome" to Phillip in MA, and my best to all the old-time regulars and the ever-growing newer contributors here on the Forum,

bruce
