Slant 6 crankshaft pulley removal?

What does it take to pull it? Is the crank pulley the same as the "harmonic balancer"? I see no bolt in the middle of the pulley, but a bunch of slots around it. Can I just use a general-purpose puller or is there some trick? I suppose it's probably simple, but I've never done it before so thought I'd ask before I mess things up.
