Unfortunately, today I overloaded the unit in a side-pull and damaged what appears to be a weak point in what the manufacturer refers to as a "turntable" on the base. This may have been engineered to fail first. I now have to either try to order a new "turntable" or perhaps make another stronger one. Basically it's a 3" o/d pipe inside of a pipe with a 3" i/d, with a tapered bearing on the bottom of the inside pipe and a round plate welded to the top of it that bolts to a matching plate on the bottom of the rotating post. It was rather surprising to me that it failed, but I have obviously taken it beyond manufacturer's intents by adding the electric winch. :)
