In my case, I like the "flatter" look of single stage paint when it oxidizes a bit. You can always wax it and give it a shine. This is my only regret about the base/clear that my truck was painted with. It's my fault I didn't ask more questions and just went with my painter's opinion. Not saying he was wrong at all, it's just something I wish I had thought through better.
