Jerry: Yes, I see where the passenger side tow hook has been displaced by the far left (facing) bearing leg that stabilizes the extended winch shaft. But I believe in some situations the capstan itself replaces the absent passenger side tow hook. Here's why.

For an even forward pull during self-extraction using the capstan, one could loop the rope around or over the driver side tow hook, run it forward through a roughly centered rope pulley secured to a stake, tree or rock, then feed the rope back around the capstan. As one tightened the rope around the capstan to let it pull the truck forward, the capstan itself serves as the passenger side attachment point for the rope, making that side's tow hook redundant. It has the added benefit of pulling on the rope to extract the Power Wagon.

In a non-self extraction situation, such as being pulled out by a bulldozer, I'd cross wrap ("X") a chain a few times around the passenger side frame extension and split bumper, completely forward of and avoiding the capstan head, winch shaft extension or bearing leg. I'd then attach the bulldozer's cable or chain to that wrapped chain so the dozer is pulling on the frame extension and not on the extended winch shaft or cat head, which might bend during a hard pull.

That's a very practical workingman's Power Wagon you have there; I like it!
