Thanks Fred. I forgot to mention to you that I moved all of your original post to a saved document so I could refer to it if and when the time comes that I round up the necessary stuff to do that. One thing that did happen as a result of this installation is I had to remove the hook from the top of the frame extension on the passenger side, since the capstan could not be installed with the hook in place. Interesting complication. I wonder where the hooks were located on an original capstan winch install.
