FM broadcast goes from 87.5-108MHz and this radio is in the 150-162MHz public safety band.
AM Broadcast is 540-1610kHz. CB is 26.965-27.405MHz.
Link below has way more than you asked for. It's in log scale, so that large looking AM band is actually small.
Many radio scanner web sites have live feeds of public safety traffic, so you can listen in locally or across the country to what what that radio was made for.
