I knew when the Carryall was finished, I would have to go and pick up the Fat Lady so she could Sing. I did not want floor issues, thus the 3/16" Plus I had enough 3/16 sitting here so I did not have to buy more. I installed it in 14" wide strips. No way could I handle a piece of 3/16" the size of the floor by my self.

I did use Peel and Seal on the 3/16" deck as mass loaded barrier, then on top of that I have the aluminum foil insulation, aluminum foil, foam, aluminum foil all bonded as one piece. Then Topping it all is
Carpet. The side walls of the body between the inner and outer body is 2.0" Blue Foam board. You can bang on the body and all you hear is a *thud*...its quiet. Fire wall is treated same as the 3/16: deck for sound proof and heat insulation.

Once I get in 5th gear, I can turn on the CD and enjoy tunes with no issues.

Your plans sound very well thought out. Iam anxious to see pictures as you build and roll out.

Paul
