In my opinion (worthless at times) the most valuable improvement, if not the ONLY improvement to a WDX/WM300, is power steering. And that is only because parking spaces are now designed for compact cars.
I don't need taller gears, because I will never repower. If I ever did repower, it would be a small diesel, which I doubt will ever happen. Then I would try 1100 16 tires to see if that gave the gearing what it needed to cooperate with the diesel.
By remaining stock powered, my truck doesn't go fast enough to worry about disc or power brakes.
