My concern is in several areas. The first, and most obvious, is importation of all these goods leaves hundreds of thousands here out of work. Also, in many cases, the quality control isn't there. Remember the sheetrock crisis a few years ago? That's just one very small example.
On the other hand, the quality in manufacturing is improving slowly, so I suppose the main argument becomes the losing of jobs. The effect on the economy in this country is huge, and it snowballs.
But, I love Chinese, Thai, Indian, Japanese, Korean, and Mexican food. :)
