My understanding is its not the clutch he wants to move to the firewall, its the brakes.
Others have left the brakes under the floor and converted but it requires a different setup and possibly some custom fabrication, which he may not be up for. Ray's kit is essentially bolt-on.
Moving both to the firewall means fabricating a new clutch linkage.
