I agree slow and steady's the best if you have time. A "quick charge" will get the vehicle going but it's hard on the battery and it will need time to get fully charged. But a regular charger on 2 or 5 amps won't develop enough voltage to get a really totally dead battery started. That's why I like one where I can dial it up until the juice starts flowing and then back off.
