here is schumachers most bad ass portable unit. I worked in a classic car dealership/resto shop and all the digital read out solid state type chargers never lasted 6 months. but these analoque type never fail. but if you run optima battery these traditional type chargers may not charge it if totally dead. I dont run optima. can get recon batteries from any interstate warehouse nataionaly for less than 30 bucks. never had to return one.
