Hi Kevin, I didn't know when my Grandpa died. I was on a Naval Reserve Destroyer Escort coming back from a two week Hawaiian cruise. I was shocked into some adult thoughts when the Officer of the Day at the Lake Union Dock in Seattle informed me of my Grandpas passing two weeks before. I think he missed him as much as me. My Grandpa worked as a welder on Liberty Ships during WW 2. I am really proud of him ! I truly know how you feel.
