I run a Weiand 7503 manifold with a Carter 500cfm in a 64 PWTW and it does very well. I also have a new Holley 600cfm that I have not tried yet. If you want to stay 2bbl the Holley 2300 is a very good choice. I had one on my 58 Plymouth in College. I had a stock '60 D100 in the 70s that ran real well, but don't remember the carb.

I don't know if this price is still available, but here is the info. Probably the best poly manifold ever and would be better than the Weiand as it is dual plane for better torque. They are still working out final casting and machining. Based on the Hot Heads Hemi manifold.

Forward:
pre-order price of $399 + applicable shipping. This new intake design is superior to all the old Poly intakes and will build much more HP & Torque. Additionally, thermal coatings and polished coatings & finishes for that “chrome-like” look is also available for manifolds and valve cover sets.
