takes a lot of work to make a swap look right. the closest i have seen is the yellow m37 detailed on the m37 page. guy had good hands. worked the frame and the sheetmetal to make it look right. there are others that are nice, like john eickhof's truck. the axles give it away. if i were going to do a frame swap, id figure a way to utilize stock rims or combat rims with the newer axles. you would have to modify hubs. there is something about their look that when absent, gives it all away. i think the best swaps are those that retain the stock frame, winch and rims and not give up the fact they are not stock. im into upgrades only 5% of the people out there see and and 10% of the people that see them 'get it'. a hundred people could look at my command car. looks stock. disc are hidden behind combats, turn signals are hidden in modified black out lights. dual master cylinder setup borrowed from a 1968fw looks born there. mods to the wiring harness, done IN the harness.
