Sounds a lot like all the benefits of working under socialism.
Big thing is, nobody is hungry any more. I don't mean that in a literal sense. What I mean is that people KNOW they will get the 30 year mortgage, KNOW they will have health care, KNOW they have what they need to live, and they don't appreciate it. They expect to have it, and when it is in a minor way threatened, they react bullishly. That's why they got healthcare through. They scared all the retirees, low-information voters, and low-language people, and they got it. A total abortion that is going to hurt healthcare and US citizens for a long time. All because people aren't even tempted to look out for themselves.
