Bill, many thanks that a wonderful generous offer. However, many of us are just to far to accept your offer.

Here is what I do when putting on new tie rod ends. This gets me back to where the toe in setting was before I did the new tie rod ends.
Setting this way will get you close....if the original setting was correct. Then you need to get on a real alignment rack, run by someone who knows what they are doing.

1. Prior to doing ANYTHING....Take a can of white spray paint. Generously spray the tie rod and the tie rod end, covering the exposed threads. Give enough coats so all is well covered.

2. Now remove the tie rod end. You will notice you have a distinct white paint line where the old tie rod end was sitting.

3. Screw on the new tie rod end right up to the distinct white paint line. Lock her up at that point. The white paint line will let you get back to exactly where the old end was sitting.

4. Your now very close, close enough to get to a alignment rack without scrubbing your tires.
