You only need one on the top of the right side. Leave the OE tie rod where it is. Move the right cap to the left in place of the one with the arm on it.
For sure locate the box where you can use a straight tie rod across. Not hard, the top of the knuckle is higher than the diff. Make the cross tie rod by shortening a junk yard rod. It would be the right metallurgy. And since they are hollow, all you need to do is saw it off, buy a tap, and retap. Be sure to cut off the end with right hand threads, left handed taps are hard to find and expensive. Napa probably sells the taper reamer for the tie rod end stud hole.
