My system is working just fine with a IR 2340 compressor, on a 30amp 220v circuit, with one water filter directly off the compressor, with two more drip legs before it gets to the sandblaster, with comes with it's own water filter.

Having a good black iron piping system with drip legs at EVERY 90 degree turn helps.

My system has 1/2 ball valve at the base of the compressor, then a water filter, SS flex hose for vibration control, 90 degree into the shop, with drip leg, then a shop regulator, distribution piping, and a pass through to my outdoor covered bay, and another drip leg, and then distibution piping in that bay, including a hose reel, and finally a last drip leg at the end.

Three drip legs, two water filters and a compressor drain...with a floor drain in the mechanical room so the compressor can drain easily. And dry air really helps keeping your air tools alive.

Not your average homeowner/hobbist setup, the shop was built to maintain up to class 8 truck, heavy equipment and motorcycles. A Power Wagon would probably count as heavy equipment:-)
