The general consensus is pretty much the same results from a few different methods.
One thing you will probably want to do is drive it around to warm things up and then jack up each side and perform the "one hand at 12 and the hand at 6" test to see if you have developed any slack. If so, you will need to do it all over. But I am a carpenter/builder, not a mechanic. :)
