After a long and tiresome job today my son and father installed all new [10] exhaust studs in the left side cylinder head on a 2001 Ferd F350 tk. They tried every trick in the book to get them out. Special spray, heat and cool, heat some more, wax only 2 came out easy the rest broken off. Drill, some came out with easy out, but wasnt easy. Drill and drill till they could tap new threads. Lots of dead drill bits even with oil to cool drilling. It was a very long job one that I dont think I will take on after this is done. Takes way to much time and the stress is just to much. When most of you guys have broken studs or bolts in you trucks you can work on it a your leaser. Doesn't matter how long it takes you. But for me in the repair business it needs to get done and the truck off the lift. Glade its done and tomorrow we drive it. Bill
