I would try spinning the dist 180 degrees. LIke Clint mentioned it might be 180 out. get it on tope dead center, make sure rotor is pointing at number one, pull dist bolt lift it up spin 180 drop back in. should be pointing at number 6. tighen botl and try to start again. I would do that before spending money on parts
