That's a great way of getting advice, but it's funny how you lose some of the sound clues over the internet.

I can't tell if it's just trying to fire or whether it's fighting timing that's too advanced.

Did you do a compression check on all cylinders as you said you were going to do? It may be firing on one or two cylinders and then coasting a revolution or two against weak compression. I can't tell from the video whether it's firing after the initial start or if it's just some cylinder noise.

You reset the timing. But, did you check the dwell? I had a recent situation where I messed with the points. The engine was getting spark, but would not start. When I reset the points correctly, it fired right up.
