Another thing I was wondering about - when I turn the crank by hand, and sometimes after I let off the starter when it doesn't start (been doing that a lot lately) there is a sound like something is spinning, like the free-wheel of a bike or a spinning ratchet. It doesn't seem to happen all the time, and the rate doesn't seem to track with the fan, etc.

Does anyone know what I am referring to, and what it might be? I am just curious.
