I wonder the same, as I see no seals on the lid or door. They are seen for sale on a lot of Jeep Parts Suppliers sites, and can be found cheaper:

In my case they don't look tree proof, and after one trail ride, I would have to abandon it as I'm sure it would not work well with dents.
