Because it's gear case is very visible, that MU-5 looks to me like it is mounted rather high on the front frame rails. Could it be mounted lower between the front frame rails (perhaps on the top of the frame rail lower flange) so you could remove the hydraulics and install a three shaft PTO drive to it from the 10 bolt PTO on the model 201 transfer case? I ask only because I had a MU-2 on the front of my old 1968 W300 and it sat lower so it could be (and was) driven by a 3 piece drive shaft from the PTO on the transfer case. Nice looking W300 you got there!
