Bearing Race/Cup Removal/Installation and Grease?

Question 1. I am in the middle of a disc brake conversion on the rear axle. Can anyone recommend a good tool for removing/installing bearing races/cups? I've never done this before and don't want to screw anything up. I have the new bearings and races and need to remove the old ones so I can install the new ones.

I don't want to cheap out, I'm not opposed to buying a good tool for the job. Just need some recommendations.

Question 2. Please recommend a brand and type of wheel bearing grease to use.
