Neighbor and I catch skunks and raccoons with raw eggs (in shell). Place one in the cage where they can't get to it by reaching in from the sides of the cage. A yoghourt cup works well to hold the egg and make them fuss just a little more around the pressure plate. As the egg ages it becomes more enticing. A raccoon will destroy everything it can reach through the cage, so make sure it's clear around the perimeter.
