Thinking about my clutch.

It occurred to me that another possibility of why my clutch isnt disengaging, there is a chance that the pressure plate is stuck to the flywheel. Unless I am missing something obvious, that would produce the same symptoms as a faulty master or slave cylinder, right?
I got the truck into the shop today, I will give it some time to melt and drip off and crawl under and check that out.
