The side mounts weren't used until 1961 on the D100-D300 and W100-W200. The bigger 1961 and up trucks used a front mount as well.

Click on the link below to see the engine number location on a poly. All the truck 318s I have seen had the number in about the same location including the LA motors used until at least the end of the 1970s so your number should be there. Once you know what the engine is from you can figure out what the stock mounts look like.
