Mine was a mess when I got the truck. I just tore it down, replaced the roller bearings, got the output bushings and seal from VPW. Then I re shimmed and adjusted the thing and it's just fine. If I think back 5-6 years ago I think the project cost me about $40. Pulling the steering wheel was the trickiest part, but as things go, now that the project is done I have the tool I'll never need again.
