According to the picture in my directions.
You got your 2 wires for the distributor figured out.
Black wire from ECU goes to - side of coil
Blue wire from ECU goes to R-run side of ballast resistor
Green wire shows as not used.
According to the picture the 2 sides of the ballast resistor are the S Start side and the R run side. The + side of the coil goes to S Start side of ballast resistor so this should help you in determining the side of the ballast resistor for your blue wire.
If this doesnt look right or work let me know as there are like 4 pages of directions for wiring a street rod to conversion of leanburn/spark control computer setups which might be what you need for your 85.
If this doesnt help I'll get off my butt and plug in my scanner and scan stuff. Let me know!
