Guy,

I plow with my '47 WDX. I just stick with my drive and the gravel road if the township doesn't get out quick enough. I never take it out on the salted hard road. I have a 9-foot Good Roads plow with Monarch hydraulics that are the correct age and design for the truck. I know Good Roads was still in business in the early 1960's. You may be able to find one of their plows correct for your WM300.
Good setup. Only 2 holes had to be drilled in the frame to mount. Otherwise, it mounted to existing holes and/or bolts. It was also designed with a hydraulic cylinder on each front truck spring to raise the front of the truck when the plow is raised to take the weight off of the springs. Nothing is in the way of the winch either.
I have found with a plow this wide and non directional tires, I have to chain up all fours.
All in all, it gives me an excuse to use the truck in the winter.

Good luck
Clint
