Speaking of high taxes, your tax dollars in NY are at work with new t.v. commercials in the D.C. market (and elsewhere I presume), trying to get businesses to come to N.Y. to start up there.
The commercials basically say, "things are different now, come to N.Y., start a business and pay no taxes for 10 years". My state (Maryland) is also high tax and anti-business. So, methinks it might not work that well for N.Y. to try and convince business people via commercials that the atmosphere is now completely different?
