Manny has it 100%, if they havent been apart in a while, pull the hub and drum as a unit. I dismantled 8 of them this weekend. I pull the hub and drum as a unit, then with it sitting on the floor where you can get your weight on them using a drag link socket ground to fit the slot in an air impact gun I can almost always get them free. I have to heat them occasionally but I doubt a propane torch would get them hot enough to make a difference. Once the screws are out, I take a tool I made from a broken off rear axle. I cut the axle off about 6" from the flange. I turn it around backwards and bolt it onto the axle studs. I then give it as many really good whacks with a 3 pound hammer. Sometimes it takes quite a few whacks. I cant imagine ever getting those drums to separate from their hubs on the truck. The holes for pusher bolts are usually so filled with crud that you cant get anything started into them, and the drums usually so frozen on that all the bolts will do is strip out the threads.
Now if the drum has been off recently, all of this should be unnecessary.
Tim
