Thanks guys, was thinking because 6 volt bulb uses twice the amps to run than a 12 volt bulb the 6 volt amp gauge might be wired different than a 12 volt ( 50 amps gauge on a 6 volt truck and a 30 amp gauge on a 12 volt truck). Think I will use the 50 amp gauge and maybe cut back to a 60 amp alternator.
