i would not stretch it
seems to me plenty of room for a nice bed
just make a long custom stepside bed with pockets for stakes
that is what i am gonna do with running bds from door up over the fenders door to door
course i can get a 10 ft bed(if there is such a thing) on mine cuz the non artic artic cab it came with is shorter than the civy
