It appears after taking some gross measurements, the inner busing was not in all the way. I was able to drive it in farther but an emergency grandson pickup interrupted me. Try to remeasure and reassemble tomorrow. Still concerned about the apparent mismatch of housing halves but will retry once satisfied busing is seated properly.
