One of the guys on the '39-'47 dodge forum came up with an easy way to do just that. I'll see if I can get a picture up for you, it's a simple adapter plate that picks up the original MC holes and is also drilled and tapped to suit the 2 bolt mounting of the new MC. The other mod is to make the actuating rod longer by the same amount as the thickness of the plate. See if link works, or I'll do it differently.
