I dont think the center bar is an issue. if anything makes them quiet. that is what I did NOT like about my MIchelin XLs is the noise. I had one set of 10.50s a long time ago on a truck i didnt own very long. they have to be better than the NDT. the 10.50 center bar is zig zag so that combined with the angle tread should make it have great traction. I find when bias are brand newer they ride great. I never thought the Michelins ride quality was any better than any of the bias I have run.
